Indiana 1st Big Ten team to open the season ranked #1 since Michigan in’92

Park Ridge, Ill. – The Big Ten leads all conferences with five men’s b
asketball teams ranked in the season’s first USA Today Coaches Poll, released on Wednesday. Indiana enters the season ranked No. 1, while No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Michigan round out the poll’s top five. Michigan State comes in at No. 14, while Wisconsin is ranked No. 21. Minnesota is receiving votes outside the top 25.
